Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Orson Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Angel is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Orson Wells! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Angel! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wells just misses with a punch to the body.
Wells misses with a left hand and Angel counters with a two punch combo. No luck with that takedown attempt from Angel. Nice defenses there by Angel. Wells takes one to the side of the head.
Angel wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Frank Angel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Angel is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wells's half guard. Wells wants to get back to his feet. Angel decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Angel closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Angel lands in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Angel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Angel seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Angel lands a couple of digs. Angel sitting in guard here, content to control. Let's hope that Angel has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Angel stops Wells from standing up. Angel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Frank Angel wasn't active enough on the ground. Angel shoots in and bounces Wells off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Angel is looking to work some ground and pound but Wells has wrist control. Wells wants to get back to his feet but Angel is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Angel passes Wells's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Angel is looking for a kimura here.
Angel controlling the pace. Angel looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Angel is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Angel looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Angel is figuring out what he wants to do next. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Angel dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Wells throws the left hand but Angel avoids the punch easily. Angel throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wells throws an ugly left hook that misses
so Angel counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Angel wants to control from the top but Wells keeps moving. Angel seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Wells keeping full guard, as Angel tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Angel advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wells is trying to buck Angel off. Angel is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wells has escaped the position, nice work there. Angel has hold of Wells's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Wells seems comfortable defending it but Angel has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Wells is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Wells is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Angel couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Frank Angel! Frank Angel opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
