The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saunders misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Corleone .

The fighters circling - Saunders throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Saunders misses with a takedown attempt - Corleone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Saunders is breathing heavily.

Saunders is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Saunders shoots for a double leg takedown but Corleone sprawls well. He's pushed Saunders's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elliot Saunders. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Elliot Saunders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
