Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sport Billy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcelo Ribeiro!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Billy throws a looping overhand right but Ribeiro ducks down to avoid it.

Ribeiro shoots in and bounces Billy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ribeiro controls from within his opponent's guard.
Billy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ribeiro's corner is telling him to maintain position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Billy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ribeiro is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Billy.
Ribeiro is looking to take a break and control but Billy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ribeiro advances to full mount.
Ribeiro throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

Ribeiro looking to control and managing it successfully.
Billy is trying desperately to improve position.
Ribeiro misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ribeiro can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Billy is looking to escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ribeiro misses with a head shot.
Ribeiro punching from mount but Billy doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Ribeiro jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Billy is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Billy and Ribeiro has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Billy wants to control but Ribeiro postures up.
Ribeiro throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Billy works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Ribeiro is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Ribeiro seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Billy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marcelo Ribeiro dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Billy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ribeiro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Billy.
Billy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

It looks like Marcelo Ribeiro has been cut.
Billy lands a hook that stumbles Ribeiro back into the cage. Billy follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Ribeiro to the canvas! Billy pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Ribeiro has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
