The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrari throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Steele.
It looks like George Steele has been cut.
Steele checks the leg kick nicely there.
Ferrari scores with a punch to the head.
Steele throws the kick towards the body but Ferrari avoids it.
Ferrari uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Steele.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ferrari.
Ferrari avoids the head kick by Steele.
Steele takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ferrari blocks the body kick.

Ferrari tries to close the distance and clinch up but Steele swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ferrari connects with a good right hand that stumbles Steele. Steele circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

A slow jab from Ferrari misses its intended target.

Ferrari throws a looping overhand right but Steele ducks down to avoid it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ferrari darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Ferrari lunges at Steele with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Steele's hand.
Ferrari connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Steele's hands.
Crunch! Ferrari slams his shin into Steele's torso.
Ferrari connects with a leg kick. Steele looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Steele has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ferrari.

Steele tries to land a front kick but Ferrari steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ferrari scores with a sloppy right hand. Steele should have avoided that one.
Steele steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ferrari.
Ferrari scores with a crisp jab that stopped Steele in his tracks.
Ferrari throws a leg kick but Steele moved away.
Steele has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ferrari.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ferrari crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Steele - the referee stops the clock and Ferrari gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Steele. Ferrari manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ferrari misses with a low kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ferrari fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steele manages to avoid it.
Ferrari throws a hook to the side of Steele's head but Steele sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ferrari pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mario Ferrari will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on George Steele's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Steele throws a leg kick but Ferrari checks it.
Ferrari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Steele counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ferrari's knee momentarily.

Steele moves out of range as Ferrari strikes.
Ferrari throws a shot from downtown. Steele moves away and avoids it.
Steele lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Steele.
It looks like Mario Ferrari has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Steele fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ferrari.
George Steele is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Steele counters with a low kick, right behind Ferrari 's knee.

Ferrari throws an overhand right that lands on Steele's shoulder, as Steele tries to avoid the shot.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Ferrari in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Ferrari digs a good body shot into Steele's ribs.

and Steele counters with a head kick that drops Ferrari to the mat! Ferrari scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Ferrari is still on wobbly legs! Can Steele finish him?
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Steele.
Ferrari seems to have recovered his senses.
A low kick from Ferrari is predictable there
and Steele counters with a nice body kick.
Ferrari is breathing heavily.
Ferrari throws out a loose jab but Steele uses good head movement to avoid it.
Steele fails with an attempt to clinch.
Steele is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Ferrari hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

After winning the bout, George Steele thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
