Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Mollo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Daniel Alexander has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mike Mollo's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mollo wants to clinch but Alexander slips to the side
and Alexander makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Alexander keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Horrible takedown by Mollo or perhaps it was just good defense by Alexander which made him look bad.
Mollo fails with a takedown attempt.

Alexander cracks Mollo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Alexander swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Daniel Alexander showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Mollo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mollo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Alexander sprawls well. Alexander wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mollo gets slowly back to his feet.
Mollo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Alexander checks it well.
Mollo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Alexander takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mollo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Alexander is out of range and Mollo settles back down.

Mollo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
