Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dickus McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGee 's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Change (In the house of flies). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dickus McGee !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeremy Pettis!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Pettis misses.
McGee throws a nice looking combination but Pettis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McGee has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pettis finds it's way round the side to connect with McGee 's head.
McGee throws a head kick but Pettis moves out of range.
McGee takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Pettis pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces McGee back to the cage. Pettis follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
McGee closes the distance and clinches up with Pettis, looking for a takedown. McGee pushes Pettis against the cage but Pettis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McGee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pettis as he jumps to the side.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

McGee throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pettis was covering up waiting for the punch and McGee finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Pettis wants to stand and escape but McGee is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McGee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pettis wants to stand up but McGee is controlling him.
Pettis is wriggling around but McGee manages to pass to half guard.
McGee is pressing down on Pettis's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pettis is holding on for now.

McGee wants to work for an arm triangle but Pettis is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

McGee is working for a submission of some sort.

Pettis tries to kick McGee off but McGee keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
McGee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
McGee thows a huge punch but Pettis dodges it nicely.

McGee is trying to work for a kimura but Pettis is defending well.
McGee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Pettis looks like he's trying to stand up.
McGee sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pettis defending well though.
McGee is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

McGee is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Pettis is looking to escape.
McGee works his way into side control.
An elbow from McGee crashes against the mat.

Pettis is pushing McGee 's head away, looking to escape. McGee manages to hold on to the position though.
McGee fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Pettis is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

McGee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Pettis pushes McGee away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, McGee gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dickus McGee dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Pettis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
McGee distracts Pettis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Pettis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
McGee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pettis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Dickus McGee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

McGee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Pettis wants to get back to his feet but McGee passes into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pettis can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pettis tries to kick McGee off in order to stand up. McGee Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

McGee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McGee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

McGee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McGee landing strikes.

McGee is working to tighten is grip on Pettis's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pettis has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but McGee is really squeezing tight and eventually Pettis passes out! McGee breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Dickus McGee !
Dickus McGee was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
