Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chad Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Di Scola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin Di Scola told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Di Scola misses with a lunging right hand
and Quick counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A telegraphed right hand from Quick misses the target.
Danga de danga de dang - Quick scores with a four punch combination!
Di Scola is rocked!
Quick goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Di Scola is still on wobbly legs! Can Quick finish him?
The crowd cheers as Quick lands an impressive looking overhand right. Di Scola doesn't seem phased though.
Quick throws a right hand that Di Scola ducks under and follows up with a left that Di Scola also avoids with ease.
Quick jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Di Scola seems to have recovered his senses.

Quick uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Di Scola.

Quick throws a nice looking combination but Di Scola bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Quick just misses with a punch to the body.

Chad Quick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quick cracks Di Scola with an open hand slap.
Di Scola displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Quick throws out the jab.

Di Scola shoots in looking for a takedown but Quick manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Di Scola's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Quick takes a swing at Di Scola's ribcage but misses.

Quick throws a jab when Di Scola was well out of range.

letting Quick counter with a right hand.

Di Scola tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Quick manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Di Scola is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Quick throws a front kick aimed at Di Scola's knee but Di Scola avoids it well.
Quick works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Quick lands a left and a right that send Di Scola crashing to the mat, dazed. Quick thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Di Scola fails with an attempt to clinch.
Quick misses with a straight left.
Quick connects with a looping right hand.
Quick fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Di Scola walks into a left hand.
Di Scola is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Quick throws an overhand right that drops Di Scola like a sack of potatoes! Quick dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
