Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Msciwoj Lis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mscibor Olszewicz! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Olszewicz quickly recovers to half guard. Olszewicz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lis. Olszewicz is trying to control but can't.
Lis tries to pass the half guard into mount. Olszewicz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lis is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Lis is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Olszewicz is surviving well by controlling Lis's body position as best he can. Lis punishing his opponent with strikes. Lis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lis working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Olszewicz wants to hold on but Lis pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Lis.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lis scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Olszewicz?
Lis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Olszewicz wants to control but Lis is having none of it. Olszewicz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lis haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Olszewicz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lis controlling the pace for now. Lis in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Lis is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Olszewicz is surviving well by controlling Lis's body position as best he can. Olszewicz wants to control but Lis is having none of it. Lis is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Lis!
