Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Djam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Noodle! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Djam fails with a takedown attempt. Noodle looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Djam shoots in but no luck this time. Jimmy Noodle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Noodle with a poor takedown and Djam counters with a nice double leg into guard. Djam postures up and lands a big shot to Noodle's brow. Djam with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Djam trying to control the position from guard on top but Noodle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Djam looking to pass the guard. Djam lands a couple of elbows. Noodle looking to hit a scissor sweep but Djam is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Djam lands a couple of digs. Noodle preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Djam is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Djam closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Djam lands in his opponent's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Djam landing strikes from the mount and Noodle is in trouble! Djam has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Noodle's face.
Noodle is bucking up trying to escape but Djam cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Djam working the ground and pound effectively.
A nice elbow there by Djam. Noodle is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Djam is landing with some decent strikes but Noodle is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Djam postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Noodle looks a forlorn figure.

Noodle tries to clinch up but Djam circles away and keeps his distance. Djam misses with a takedown and Noodle counters with a series of strikes. Djam will be more careful next time no doubt. Djam lands a nice shot to the body.

No luck for Djam with that takedown attempt. Noodle pushes Djam up against the cage in a clinch. Noodle is looking to break free of the clinch but Djam has double underhooks. Djam tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Noodle's elbow. Djam tries to score a body lock takedown but Noodle shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Noodle is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Djam scores with a couple of nice shots. Djam lands with a punch from half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Djam connects with a nice short shot to Noodle's temple. Djam looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Djam showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Djam, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
