The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee moves into range and clinches up with Cristian.
Lee tries to pull guard but Cristian forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Cristian drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Cristian goes for a takedown attempt but Lee pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cristian manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lee on his heels. He'll look to pass Lee's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Lee looking for subs off his back but Cristian has passed one foot through into half guard.
Cristian tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Lee is trying to control but can't.
Cristian has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cristian has hold of Lee's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lee manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
