And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adams looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Adams in particular looking to stall.
It looks like Adams might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Reznov is trying to maintain the position but Adams is very close to passing his half guard.
Adams wants to advance to full mount but Reznov doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Reznov is looking for a triangle but Adams pushes his legs off easily.
Adams trying to control the position from guard on top but Reznov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Adams pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reznov is keeping the position for now.
Adams tries to stand but Reznov is controlling from the bottom.
Adams wants to control from the top but Reznov keeps moving.
Reznov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Jake Adams has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Adams looking to score a takedown here. Reznov is defending well but Adams drives through and ends up in Reznov's guard.
