Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Billy Bass has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Bass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Barker!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barker throws a series of punches but Bass moves out of range.
Barker looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Bass throws a shot to the body.
Bass shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barker as he avoids it easily.
Bass is trying hard to land a takedown here. Barker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Barker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bass moves away.
Bass pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Barker back to the cage. Bass follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Nice sprawl there from Barker as Bass shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bass. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Barker keeps the fight on the outside.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bass connects with a jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bass looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bass dives in and grabs Barker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barker pushes down on Bass's head and hops out.

Barker closes the distance and pushes Bass back into the cage.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Barker.
Bass tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Barker just stands there and leans against the cage.

Bass is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Barker is defending well.

Barker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Barker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bass.

Barker throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bass tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Barker is in Bass's guard.
Barker wants to control from the top but Bass keeps moving.
Barker is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Bass knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barker on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bass has a closed guard, preventing Barker from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barker trying to control but Bass is working from the bottom.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bob Barker hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bass is looking to clinch.
Barker takes a kick to the side of the head.
Bass shoots in for a takedown but Barker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Barker looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Barker keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Bass is looking for a sweep. Barker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bass is looking to control Barker's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bass avoid being mounted?

Barker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Barker has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Barker prevents Bass from getting the reversal.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Billy Bass will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Barker stuffs the takedown.
Barker buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bass will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bass uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Barker.
Barker takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Billy Bass is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bass gets caught napping as Barker dives in and scores a takedown. Bass manages to retain guard.
Barker is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bass controls Barker momentarily but Barker frees himself.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bass is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Barker defends well.
Barker with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Bass looking for subs off his back but Barker has passed one foot through into half guard.

Barker is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bass is just riding it out for now. Barker eventually gives up the hold.

Barker is controlling the pace.

Barker's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Barker missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bass wants to control but Barker is keeping busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bass shoots in for a takedown but Barker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bass throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Barker closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bass seems a little lost for a moment, as Barker dominates the positioning.
Barker landing strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Barker decides to stand back up. Barker steps back and let's Bass get back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bass wants to clinch up but Barker keeps it at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Barker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Bass dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A head kick misses from Bass.
Bass shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barker sprawls well. Barker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bass gets slowly back to his feet.

Barker shoots in and gets a takedown into Bass's guard.
Barker is stalling in the full guard.
Barker won't allow Bass to sweep him here.

Barker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Barker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Barker passes Bass's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Barker moves into full mount! Bass won't be happy about that!

Bob Barker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Barker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
