Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lui Kwang Sun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darrell Quaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quaid has chosen Calm Like A Bomb- Rage Against The Machine as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lui Kwang Sun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darrell Quaid! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kwang Sun is looking to clinch but Quaid is avoiding it.
Kwang Sun shoots in looking for a takedown. Quaid tries to sprawl out of it but Kwang Sun keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quaid manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kwang Sun displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Quaid throws out the jab. Kwang Sun shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Quaid as he jumps to the side. Quaid keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A swing and a miss from Quaid. Kwang Sun misses with a takedown attempt - Quaid sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lui Kwang Sun. That's going to take a lot out of him. Quaid moves away from the strike by Kwang Sun. Kwang Sun tries to clinch there but Quaid circles away.
Quaid throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kwang Sun fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kwang Sun darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Quaid wants to improve his position but Kwang Sun is controlling well.

Quaid is not content to let Kwang Sun control the position. Kwang Sun perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Quaid is not content to let Kwang Sun control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Still in half guard, Kwang Sun seems content to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lui Kwang Sun. Kwang Sun throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kwang Sun attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. The fight stays on the outside here - Kwang Sun looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Quaid tries a low kick but Kwang Sun avoids it. Quaid keeps the fight on the outside. Kwang Sun wants to clinch and Quaid counters with a nice kick to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quaid misses with a straight right. A momentary lapse in concentration from Quaid enables Kwang Sun to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Quaid manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Quaid is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kwang Sun slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kwang Sun stands and throws Quaid's legs to the side, diving into side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kwang Sun passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Quaid! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kwang Sun shoots for a takedown but Quaid saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kwang Sun fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Quaid avoids it really well and circles away. Kwang Sun misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kwang Sun drives through with a takedown into guard. Kwang Sun trying to control but Quaid is working from the bottom. Quaid tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kwang Sun slips nicely into half guard. Kwang Sun is trying to control the action in half guard but Quaid is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kwang Sun is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Quaid doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kwang Sun. Kwang Sun is looking for a kimura but Quaid is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kwang Sun to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kwang Sun trying to control the pace. Quaid is trying to maintain the position but Kwang Sun is very close to passing his half guard. Kwang Sun tries to pass to full mount but Quaid defends it. Kwang Sun is trying to work for a kimura but Quaid is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kwang Sun looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kwang Sun shoots in for a double leg but Quaid sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lui Kwang Sun. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kwang Sun fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Quaid bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Quaid stuffs the takedown. Kwang Sun throws a combination that misses and Quaid counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Lui Kwang Sun has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quaid wants to land a leg kick but Kwang Sun is out of range. Quaid throws a leg kick which misses Kwang Sun's front leg but catches the back leg as Kwang Sun tries to avoid it. Kwang Sun fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Quaid checks it well. Quaid throws a leg kick that misses. This has been an exciting period of action! Kwang Sun tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Quaid swivels and escapes. Lui Kwang Sun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good exchange - Quaid coming out on top. Kwang Sun shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kwang Sun was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kwang Sun goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Quaid rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kwang Sun's guard! Nice work there by Quaid! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kwang Sun wants to sweep here but Quaid controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Quaid doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kwang Sun. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kwang Sun is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Quaid still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Quaid has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Quaid really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kwang Sun. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lui Kwang Sun has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Quaid swats away the attempt to clinch by Kwang Sun. Quaid scores with a body shot.

Darrell Quaid has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kwang Sun fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Quaid sprawls well initially but Kwang Sun persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kwang Sun controlling the action here. Quaid is not content to let Kwang Sun control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Lui Kwang Sun showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kwang Sun, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
