Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Zinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zinn's entrance music is All Day. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Martin Zinn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michael Jones! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A right-left combo lands from Zinn. Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Zinn gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Zinn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zinn cracks a nice hook into Jones's ribs. Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Zinn's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jones under the eye. Zinn scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones works Zinn's body with a nice hook. Good leg kick by Zinn there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Michael Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zinn tries a head kick but it misses.
Zinn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zinn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Zinn bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Zinn in side control lands a decent elbow. Zinn lands some shots froms side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Zinn landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Jones is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Jones looks winded! Zinn working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jones moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones keeping moving, preventing Zinn from controlling successfully. Zinn throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Zinn is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to sweep here but Zinn controlling him for the moment. Zinn with a flurry of punches that miss. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zinn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Zinn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Zinn stopping the sweep attempt from Jones. Jones looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Zinn passes into half guard.
Zinn working over Jones with some ground and pound. Jones looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jones slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Zinn is looking to work some ground and pound but Jones has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Zinn wants to improve his position but Jones is controlling well.
Zinn pushes Jones off and gets back to his feet. Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zinn.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Zinn.
It looks like Michael Jones has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A slapping leg kick lands for Zinn.
Zinn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Zinn connects with a jab. Zinn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Zinn lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. Zinn thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Jones is rocked! Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving. Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Zinn finish him? Zinn chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jones seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Zinn closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Jones! Zinn dives in looking to finish! Jones is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Martin Zinn! An out of breath Martin Zinn thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
