The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tippin is looking to land body kicks.
Tippin cracks Ivanov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ivanov looks for a takedown but Tippin sprawls well.
Ivanov shoots in looking for a takedown. Tippin tries to sprawl out of it but Ivanov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tippin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tippin digs a good hook to Ivanov's body.

Tippin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ivanov on his heels. He'll look to pass Ivanov's guard now, I'm sure.

Tippin reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Tippin taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ivanov!

Aleksander Ivanov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
