Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Randall McMurphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Hobo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnny Hobo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randall McMurphy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Hobo! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McMurphy misses with the combination.
McMurphy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. McMurphy gets to his feet. Hobo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! McMurphy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hobo! Hobo tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hobo controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. McMurphy is landing with strikes. Hobo can't take much more of this. Hobo is trying to stand back up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. What can Hobo do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
That's one minute gone in the round. McMurphy working for a choke but Hobo is defending well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McMurphy lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
McMurphy is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Hobo has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but McMurphy has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Hobo taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. McMurphy doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Randall McMurphy! During a confident post fight interview, Randall McMurphy thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
