Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Stehling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stehling comes into the arena with Turmion Kätilöt - Minä MÄÄRÄÄN! blaring out of the sound system. Josh Williams has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mitchell Stehling's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
44 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mitchell Stehling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josh Williams! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stehling swings away with a leg kick that misses. Williams swings for the body but Stehling moves out of range.
Stehling forces Williams back against the cage and clinches. A shot in the inside from Stehling. Williams lands on the inside with an uppercut. Williams can't find room to land a body shot as Stehling controls the action.
Stehling misses with a punch on the inside.
Stehling throws a head punch that misses. Stehling lands a nice shot to the body. Williams blocks a body shot from Stehling. Williams is trying to break the clinch but Stehling is controlling him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stehling tries a body shot but Williams blocks it.
Williams breaks the clinch.
Stehling takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Stehling feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Williams's calf. Stehling scores with a nice head shot. Stehling thuds his right hand into Williams's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Williams throws a leg kick that is checked and Stehling counters with a nice double leg into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Stehling wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stehling throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams looking for a sweep. Not yet Williams, not yet. Stehling might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Williams keeping moving, preventing Stehling from controlling successfully. Stehling controlling from the top position. Williams working a defensive guard here.
Stehling is fighting to break Williams's control of his arms but Williams is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Josh Williams hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Stehling throws a lazy uppercut
and Williams makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Stehling scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Josh Williams has been cut. Stehling tests Williams's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Williams is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stehling feints and then cracks Williams's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Williams down. Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Stehling finish him? Williams looks winded! Williams doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stehling dances in with a quick combination. Williams is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Stehling snaps Williams's head back. Williams stumbles backwards against the cage. Stehling steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Williams's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Williams just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mitchell Stehling! A relieved looking Mitchell Stehling thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
