Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cody Funke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikio Okita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Funke might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to never gonna stop. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikio Okita!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okita circles away from the clinch attempt.
A shot to the liver by Okita. Beautiful body shot.
Okita uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Funke.
Okita fails with a takedown attempt.
Okita connects with a right hand. Funke shakes it off.
Okita lands a nice shot that snaps Funke's head back.
Okita works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Funke fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Okita on the side of the head.
Donk. Funke catches Okita right on the button with a cross.

Funke closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Okita can't do much from the bottom here.
Funke is looking to take a break and control but Okita is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Funke accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
