Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Doom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Donghae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doom kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rise Of The Warriors. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jacob Doom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lee Donghae! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doom shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Donghae is trying to defend but Doom finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Doom trying to control the pace. Doom not landing any meaningful shots this time. Donghae is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Doom missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donghae avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Doom. Donghae has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Doom is working away from the top position though. Donghae wants to get back to his feet. Doom is thwarting Donghae's attempts to control the position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lee Donghae wasn't active enough on the ground. Doom throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Donghae.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doom scores with a hook. Donghae shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Doom looks to land a combination but Donghae avoids it well. Donghae fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Doom feints and as Donghae raises his hands in defense, Doom changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Doom engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Doom trying to control but Donghae is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Donghae is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Doom looks like he's trying to stand up.
Donghae is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Doom has managed to free his arm - good work. Doom tries to kick Donghae off but Donghae keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Donghae wants to stand but Doom has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Doom pushes Donghae off looking to stand but Donghae dives back in and keeps control.
Donghae is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Donghae is looking for a kimura here.
Doom wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacob Doom dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Donghae connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jacob Doom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Donghae misses with a series of wild punches.
Doom throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Donghae cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Doom throws a body punch but Donghae moves out of range. Donghae slips a jab and a cross from Doom.
Donghae is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Doom's half guard. Donghae tries to stand and escape but Doom is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donghae seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Doom does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Donghae wants to work for an arm triangle but Doom is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Doom wants to get back to his feet. Donghae stands up from half guard. Doom throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Donghae connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Doom throws a right hand that Donghae ducks under and follows up with a left that Donghae also avoids with ease. Doom stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Doom wants it to stay on the feet. Donghae shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doom shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Doom showed some decent athleticism there. Doom wants to take a breather but Donghae is having none of it. Doom not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Donghae makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! This has been an exciting period of action! Donghae throws a lazy right hand but Doom sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Donghae lands a jab to Doom's midsection. Doom swings for the body but Donghae moves out of range.
Doom misses with a two punch combination.
Doom lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Donghae backs up against the cage.
Donghae waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Doom. Donghae uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Doom. Donghae throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Doom misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Donghae.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doom feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Donghaes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Doom misses with a double jab
and Donghae counters with a stiff right hand. Doom swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Donghae counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Donghae tries to sprawl but Doom drives through with a takedown into half guard. Jacob Doom overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Donghae is trying to get back to full guard. Donghae tries to kick Doom off but Doom keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Lee Donghae will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Very smooth. Doom controlling the position. Donghae tries to get back to half guard but can't. Doom in side control, throwing shots but Donghae defends.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donghae is trying to get back to his feet. Doom lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Doom working away. Doom decides to stand back up. Doom steps back and let's Donghae get back to his feet. Doom dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Donghae. That did some damage! Doom throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Doom rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Donghae moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donghae shoots in but no luck this time. Doom scores with a nice body kick.

Doom's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Doom throws a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Donghae throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Doom waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Donghae.

enabling Donghae to counter with a crisp jab. Donghae uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Doom.
Donghae works the jab nicely. Jacob Doom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Donghae dodges the punch combination from Doom.
Doom shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doom closes the distance and lands a one-two. Doom throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Donghae. Donghae throws a looping overhand right but Doom ducks down to avoid it. Donghae changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Doom looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Donghae in side control, throwing shots but Doom defends. Donghae wants to stand but Doom is controlling his arm. Doom wants to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Jacob Doom showed his dominance in that final round. Well Doom has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
