The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maccy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Maccy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Palfreyman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Maccy fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Maccy throws a low kick but Palfreyman avoids it.
Maccy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Palfreyman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Palfreyman tries to clinch there but Maccy circles away.
Palfreyman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maccy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Palfreyman somewhat.
Maccy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Palfreyman was well out of range. Poor timing from Maccy.
Maccy slaps away a takedown attempt from Palfreyman, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kru Maccy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Palfreyman.
Maccy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

and Palfreyman counters with a left and a right that stings Maccy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Maccy gets caught napping as Palfreyman dives in and scores a takedown. Maccy manages to retain guard.
Palfreyman stays in close to Maccy's body and controls the position.
Maccy wants to get back to his feet but Palfreyman passes into half guard.
Maccy is trying to stand up here but Palfreyman is controlling him well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Palfreyman is trying to control. Maccy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Maccy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Palfreyman on the ground.
Palfreyman has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Maccy defend it? Palfreyman steps over the head and cranks it - Maccy is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Palfreyman!
