Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alfa Uros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Lakanik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uros's entrance music is Dirty Diana. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alfa Uros! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Lakanik! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lakanik throws a sloppy head kick and Uros moves out of range easily. Uros darts in and clinches Lakanik up against the cage. Lakanik manages to break the clinch.
Uros tries to clinch up but Lakanik circles away and keeps his distance. Uros shoots in and drives through. Lakanik sprawls well. Uros dives in and grabs Lakanik's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lakanik pushes down on Uros's head and hops out. A head kick misses from Uros. Uros tries to clinch but Lakanik moves out of range. Uros tries to clinch but Lakanik is having none of it. No luck for Uros with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alfa Uros. That's going to take a lot out of him. Uros fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lakanik avoids it really well and circles away. Uros tries to clinch up but Lakanik circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uros misses with a wild combination.
Uros lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Uros is looking to clinch. Lakanik scoring well with a low kick there.
Uros tries to keep at a distance but Lakanik has taken the fight into the clinch. Lakanik wants to get back to striking at distance but Uros won't allow it.
Lakanik is looking to break free of the clinch but Uros has double underhooks. Uros goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lakanik prevents it.
Lakanik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Uros tries to clinch but Lakanik moves out of range. Uros tries to clinch but Lakanik moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Uros tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Uros moves in looking to clinch but Lakanik pushes him off. This has been an exciting period of action! Uros closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lakanik circles away. Uros tries to clinch but Lakanik is having none of it. No luck for Uros with that takedown attempt. Uros throws a lazy body kick and Lakanik counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Uros thinking. Uros is breathing heavily. Lakanik tries to land a front kick but Uros steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Uros gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lakanik counters with a good low kick that Uros was not able to check. Lakanik moves into the clinch successfully.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Uros shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lakanik as he avoids it easily. Lakanik keeps the fight on the outside. Uros moves out of range as Lakanik throws a body kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Uros looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Uros has a takedown stuffed. Uros shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lakanik counters with an inside leg kick. Lakanik throws a sloppy head kick and Uros moves out of range easily. Uros misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Uros looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lakanik is fending him off so far but Uros persists. Nope, Lakanik circles away and we're back to standing. Uros blocks a head kick by Lakanik.
Uros lands with a kick to the temple. Lakanik shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's four minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Uros, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Uros looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Lakanik tries a head kick but it misses.
Uros tries to clinch up. Lakanik misses with a wild body shot. The fight moves into the clinch position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lakanik can't break the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lakanik breaks the clinch.
Alfa Uros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Uros on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Uros with a poor takedown and Lakanik counters with a good low kick that Uros was not able to check. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Lakanik dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lakanik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Uros closes the distance but Lakanik moves to the side and Lakanik counters with a head kick that drops Uros to the mat! Uros scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Uros is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lakanik ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Uros moves away. Lakanik stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lakanik wants it to stay on the feet. Uros tries to clinch and Lakanik counters with a body kick. Lakanik lands a nice hook to Uros's body. Uros takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Lakanik pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lakanik lands a big head kick that sends Uros tumbling to the mat! Lakanik takes a step backwards and waves Uros back to his feet - he wants the finish! Oh Uros is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lakanik swats away the attempt to clinch by Uros. Look low, kick high! Lakanik uses the oldest trick in the book to send Uros tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Lakanik is absolutely delighted - when Uros wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). John Lakanik! John Lakanik bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
