Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Whoopin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Tagra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samuel Tagra will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tagra shoots for a double leg takedown but Whoopin sprawls well. He's pushed Tagra's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Whoopin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Whoopin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tagra has escaped the position, nice work there.
Whoopin moves into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Whoopin goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Tagra turns into him and now he's in Whoopin's guard.
Whoopin is breathing heavily.
Whoopin wants to sweep but no luck.
Tagra wants to control from the top but Whoopin keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tagra won't allow Whoopin to sweep him here.
Tagra is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Whoopin has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Tagra is looking to defend but Whoopin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Tagra! Whoopin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Tagra taps out and this one is all over!
