The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James shoots in for a takedown but Pegeant shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
James tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pegeant swivels and escapes.
Pegeant leaves James with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dennis Pegeant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King James.

James is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pegeant's half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Pegeant has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for James. Oh but Pegeant has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! James goes limp - he's gone! Pegeant jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
