Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Jarrett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Smokers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paul Jarrett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bob Smokers!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarrett keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jarrett scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Smokers doesn't seem bothered though.

Jarrett shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Smokers napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Smokers is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Smokers postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jarrett is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Smokers, into his guard.

Smokers shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jarrett is trying to defend but Smokers finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smokers connects with a nice short shot to Jarrett's temple.

Smokers is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jarrett doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Smokers.

Bob Smokers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Smokers has his feet on Jarrett's thighs here. He's pushed Jarrett off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Jarrett screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
