Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Moretti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Moretti might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Heroes---David Bowie. Anderson Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Danny Moretti has been cut.
Moretti throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Moretti wants to clinch.
Moretti's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Moretti duly obliges.

It looks like Anderson Silva has been cut.
Silva shoots in but no luck this time.
Moretti stuffs the takedown.

Moretti has taken the fight to the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Silva works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Silva is trying to control but can't.

Silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Moretti pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moretti is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silva defends it well.
Moretti wants to stand but Silva has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Danny Moretti will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Moretti fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Moretti rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Moretti closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Silva pulls guard effortlessly.

Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moretti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moretti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Anderson Silva has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Moretti throws a left and a right that both miss
and Silva counters with a head kick. That will keep Moretti thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Moretti feints a jab promting Silva to slip. Moretti then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Silva slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Moretti which made him look bad.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Moretti.
Danny Moretti is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Silva tries to clinch but Moretti is having none of it.
Moretti throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Silva counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Silva is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Moretti knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Moretti for a finish.

Anderson Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
