Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Murt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artie Lange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murt's entrance music is I like to move it. A fine choice. Lange has chosen ACDC-You Shook Me(All Night Long) as his entrance music. Artie Lange struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 137.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lange moves out of range as Murt throws a body kick.
Lange on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Murt lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Lange shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Murt sprawls well. Murt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lange gets slowly back to his feet.

No joy there for Murt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lange shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lange was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lange is trying to get an arm triangle but Murt is defending well.

Lange is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Murt has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Murt!
Murt stands up and waves to Lange to follow him.
Lange shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Murt sprawls well. Murt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lange gets slowly back to his feet.

Murt thumps Lange with a low kick.
Murt lands a nice looking body kick.
Murt fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lange tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Murt paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lange feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lange drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Murt manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lange has Murt in his guard.
Lange is working an open guard so Murt takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Murt connects with a solid leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crunch! Murt slams his shin into Lange's torso.
Matthew Murt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murt shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lange eats them both and turns towards Murt to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A slapping leg kick lands for Murt.

Lange tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Murt lands a nice elbow.

Murt lands a good knee to the midsection. Lange won't want to take too many of those.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Lange is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Murt gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Lange goes for a takedown attempt but Murt pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Murt will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lange up against the cage.

Murt lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Lange crumples to the floor! Murt milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

After the fight, Matthew Murt was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
