Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richie McCaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarred Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McCaw might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kula Shaker - Hush. Jarred Rose has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richie McCaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jarred Rose!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCaw scores with a three punch combo!
Rose throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice sprawl there from McCaw as Rose shoots in.

Rose tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McCaw manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rose closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
McCaw sneaks back into half guard.
McCaw is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rose's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rose's back!
McCaw has the hooks in. Rose is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rose rolls, trying to escape but McCaw keeps control of the position.
McCaw throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Rose is looking to improve his position but McCaw isn't that keen on the idea.

McCaw cracks Rose with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The referee warns Rose that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rose tries to reverse the position but McCaw maintains control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McCaw has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rose's face.
McCaw looking to ground and pound but Rose is blocking nicely.
Rose wants to control but McCaw is having none of it.
McCaw lands a big elbow.
McCaw fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
McCaw scoring with strikes but Rose is staying in there.
McCaw lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Rose tries to get back to half guard but can't.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rose is rocked!
McCaw cracks Rose with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
