Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeglad Blinkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Lauzon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blinkin circles away from the clinch attempt.

Lauzon clinches up with Blinkin and pushes him back against the cage.
Lauzon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Blinkin smiles and moves away.
Blinkin misses with a series of wild punches.
Lauzon shoots in and drives through. Blinkin sprawls well.
Lauzon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blinkin pinned against the cage. Blinkin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jeglad Blinkin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Lauzon.
Lauzon ducks right into an uppercut from Blinkin.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lauzon is defended easily by Blinkin.

and Blinkin counters with a one-two to the body.
Blinkin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Blinkin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Blinkin lands with an overhand left.
Lauzon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Blinkin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lauzon fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lauzon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blinkin but Blinkin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lauzon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Blinkin sizes up Lauzon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Blinkin tests Lauzon's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lauzon drops back looking for a leg! Blinkin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blinkin manages to kick Lauzon off! Lauzon jumps back into Blinkin's guard.

Blinkin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lauzon on the ground.

Lauzon shoots in for a takedown but Blinkin shows good takedown defense.

Blinkin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lauzon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lauzon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Blinkin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lauzon somewhat.
Blinkin feints a jab promting Lauzon to slip. Blinkin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lauzon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
