The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabonis fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jarvinen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Sabonis lands a big head kick that sends Jarvinen tumbling to the mat! Sabonis takes a step backwards and waves Jarvinen back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Yrjo Jarvinen has been cut.
Arvydas Sabonis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sabonis throws a quick head kick that knocks Jarvinen silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Sabonis is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
