Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Madgwick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madgwick scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tanaka works Madgwick's body with a nice hook.
Tanaka misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Madgwick.
Madgwick ducks under a wild hook from Tanaka.
Madgwick throws a nice looking combination but Tanaka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Madgwick misses with a low kick.
Madgwick feints a jab promting Tanaka to slip. Madgwick then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tanaka slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Dean Madgwick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tanaka blocks a low kick nicely.
Madgwick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Madgwick doesn't manage to clinch there - Tanaka circles away.
Madgwick throws a combination. Tanaka tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Madgwick throws a leg kick that is checked
and Tanaka counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tanaka.

Tanaka trying to control the position from guard on top but Madgwick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Madgwick is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Madgwick looks winded!
Madgwick is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Tanaka dives into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Madgwick can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tanaka trying to control the position but Madgwick is working away.
Madgwick is trying to buck Tanaka off.
Tanaka is looking to take a break and control but Madgwick is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tanaka tries to move to mount but Madgwick blocks the move with his legs.

Tanaka tries for a kimura but Madgwick is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Madgwick stops Tanaka from passing to mount.
Tanaka is looking to take a break and control but Madgwick is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Madgwick is pushing Tanaka's head away, looking to escape. Tanaka manages to hold on to the position though.

Tanaka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Madgwick keeps working.
Madgwick is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Tanaka wants to control but Madgwick is keeping him busy.
Madgwick is pushing Tanaka's head away, looking to escape. Tanaka manages to hold on to the position though.

Madgwick bucks up and tries to throw Tanaka off but instead Tanaka has got his back!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Madgwick is trying to get back to his feet but Tanaka has full control of the position and if anything, Madgwick has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Tanaka looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Madgwick taps!

A relieved looking Larry Tanaka thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
