Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Violator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hachiro Matsui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Violator waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Matsui.
Matsui steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Violator.

Matsui lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Matsui.

Matsui fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Violator looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Matsui tries to bum rush Violator with a series of wild strikes but Violator uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Matsui's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Matsui duly obliges.

Matsui ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Violator moves away.

Matsui works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Violator takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Matsui fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Violator shoots in looking for a takedown but Matsui manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Violator's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Matsui moves away from the strike by Violator.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Violator takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Matsui is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Violator rather than just go for the knockout.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Violator keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Violator crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Matsui - the referee stops the clock and Violator gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Matsui. Violator manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Violator takes one on the chin but seems OK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hachiro Matsui dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Violator on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Matsui. Matsui obviously looking to wear him down.
