Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lang comes to the cage accompanied by Ice cream paint job. Price has chosen Hank Williams III - Thrown out of the Bar as his entrance music. Dan Price told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Lang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Price! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice cross by Lang. Price moves out of range of the leg kick from Lang. Lang cracks the inside of Price's front leg. Price darts in trying to clinch and Lang counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Lang looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lang is looking to advance position but Price won't allow it. Price is looking for a sweep. Lang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. This has been an exciting period of action! Lang is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Price doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lang. Price trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lang is trying to control. Price wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Price is trying to maintain the position but Lang is very close to passing his half guard. Lang trying to pass the guard but Price defending well. Lang is looking for a kimura but Price is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lang to get the leverage. Lang wants to take a breather but Price is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Price is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lang trying to pass the guard but Price defending well. Price really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lang is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Price tries to hold on but Lang postures up. Price is working to get back to half guard.
Lang takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lang has his arm under Price's chin here. Game over son! Lang squeezes tightly and Price is forced to tap out!
