Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Rye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Brining (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Rye!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Brining!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rye closes the distance and clinches up with Brining, looking for a takedown. Rye pushes Brining against the cage but Brining circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Brining shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Brining was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Rye tries to hold on but Brining pushes him away.
Poor strikes thrown by Brining there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Rye is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Brining thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Brining goes for an armbar but Rye turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Rye.
Rye passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Brining is trying to control Rye's posture but Rye avoids it.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Brining has eaten all the pies!
Rye tries to move into full mount but can't pass Brining's legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brining is trying to work for a sweep but Rye has mounted him!
Rye looking for a guillotine from mount but Brining is having none of it.
Rye has hold of Brining's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Brining manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brining is trying desperately to improve position.
Rye controlling from mount.
Brining is trying to escape the mount.
Brining manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Brining is looking to improve his position.
Brining looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Rye trying to control from half guard but Brining is working away.
Rye is breathing heavily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rye prevents Brining from improving his position.
Rye trying to control the action but Brining is working from the bottom.
Brining looking for submissions off his back.
Rye tries to pass the half guard into mount. Brining knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Brining darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Brining is working for a submission of some sort.

Rye looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Brining is trying to control the action in half guard but Rye is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Rye manages to get to full guard.
Rye wants to stand up but Brining is controlling him.
Rye throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Brining postures up.
Brining is posturing up here but Rye has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Brining tries to roll out but it's too tight and Brining has to tap! Slick submission there by Rye!
