Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Huey Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Panzer Grenadier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman comes to the cage accompanied by Leverage - Mister Universe. Grenadier has chosen Esaka '96 as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Panzer Grenadier was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman throws a leg kick but Grenadier sees it coming and moves out of range.
Grenadier takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Freeman has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Amsterdamage in the buildup to the fight.
Freeman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Grenadier throws out the jab.

Grenadier slips a jab from Freeman.
Freeman keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A nice inside leg kick there by Grenadier. That's going to slow Freeman down.
Grenadier loads up on a big right hand but Freeman slips the punch.
Grenadier throws a leg kick which misses Freeman's front leg but catches the back leg as Freeman tries to avoid it.

Grenadier scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Freeman takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Freeman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Grenadier crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Freeman - the referee stops the clock and Grenadier gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Freeman. Grenadier manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Freeman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Freeman lands in his opponent's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Grenadier utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Freeman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Freeman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Freeman postures up in Grenadier's guard and throws a big left but Grenadier blocks it.

Freeman throws an elbow that misses. Grenadier uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Freeman's guard. Nice move by Grenadier!

Freeman seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Freeman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Grenadier defends it easily.

Grenadier got a little sloppy there for a moment and Freeman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Grenadier has managed to get both his arms back between Freeman's legs - danger averted.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Panzer Grenadier was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Freeman lands with a kick to the temple. Grenadier shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

It looks like Huey Freeman has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Freeman takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Freeman lands a nice shot that snaps Grenadier's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Panzer Grenadier will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Grenadier bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Freeman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Panzer Grenadier seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Freeman throws a nice looking combination but Grenadier bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Freeman scores with a crisp jab that stopped Grenadier in his tracks.

Grenadier avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Grenadier. Freeman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Grenadier throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Freeman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Freeman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Grenadier's waist but Grenadier gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Freeman off to one side.
Freeman plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Huey Freeman's cut is getting worse.

Freeman swats away the attempt to clinch by Grenadier.
Freeman jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Grenadier scores with a sloppy right hand. Freeman should have avoided that one.
Grenadier throws the left hand but Freeman avoids the punch easily.
Freeman is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Freeman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Freeman lands a nice leg kick that just misses Grenadier's sensitive parts.
Freeman finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Freeman is rocked!
Freeman swings for the body but Grenadier moves out of range.
Oh Freeman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Grenadier lands a big uppercut and Freeman crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Freeman looks OK. Grenadier waves Freeman back to his feet!
Panzer Grenadier is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Freeman connects with the punch.
The fighters circling - Grenadier throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Freeman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Grenadier lands a big right hand that sends Freeman crashing to the mat! Grenadier stays standing though and waves Freeman back to his feet!

Jeez, Huey Freeman's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Freeman gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Grenadier gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Panzer Grenadier!
