Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armeanus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Armeanus lands a jab-cross combination. Armeanus fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ablett manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Armeanus on his heels. He'll look to pass Armeanus 's guard now, I'm sure. Ablett engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Armeanus is looking for a triangle but Ablett pushes his legs off easily.
Armeanus looks winded! Ablett seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Armeanus avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ablett prevents Armeanus from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ablett controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Gary Ablett just wasn't active enough. Armeanus gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ablett pushes down on Armeanus 's leg and manages to get into half guard. Ablett wants to take a breather but Armeanus is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ablett seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Armeanus keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Armeanus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ablett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ablett winds up and cracks Armeanus with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Ablett lands with a punch from half guard. Ablett is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. This has been an exciting period of action! Ablett is looking for a kimura but Armeanus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ablett to get the leverage. Ablett looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ablett passes to full mount! Ablett lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Armeanus hang on? Ablett controlling from mount. Armeanus really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ablett in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Ablett cracks Armeanus with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Ablett has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Armeanus 's face.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ablett content just to control the position here. Ablett is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Armeanus has managed to escape the submission attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ablett wants to control the pace but Armeanus is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ablett shoots in for a takedown but Armeanus shows good takedown defense. Armeanus misses with a two punch combination.
Ablett fails with an attempt to clinch.
Armeanus throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ablett fails with the takedown. Ablett tries for a takedown but Armeanus circles away easily and Armeanus counters with a one-two to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Ablett. That's going to take a lot out of him. Armeanus misses with a double jab.
Ablett closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Armeanus is breathing heavily. Still in half guard, Ablett seems content to control. Ablett passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ablett takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ablett raining down shots from the mount! Ablett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Armeanus taking shots to the head. Ablett controlling the pace for now. Armeanus tries to hold on but Ablett pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Armeanus is in a horrible position here. Ablett smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ablett looking to secure an arm triangle but Armeanus defends it well. Ablett has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Armeanus is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Gary Ablett! Gary Ablett tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
