Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryce Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spank Azz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spank Azz told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bryce Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Spank Azz!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hunter avoids it really well and circles away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hunter.
Azz gets a double leg takedown into Hunter's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hunter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Azz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Azz is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Azz scoring with punches to the head and body.
Azz content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hunter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Azz landing with the ground and pound.
Hunter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Azz on the ground.
Azz lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Azz stands up over Hunter, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hunter has momentary wrist control but Azz slips an elbow through the middle.
Azz is working Hunter over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hunter could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Azz makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hunter is rocked!
Azz postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Hunter covers up, he's hurt! Azz keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Azz and the ref steps in to end the fight! Azz can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Spank Azz!
