The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menezes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jensen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jensen cracks Menezes with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Menezes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Menezes shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Menezes showed some decent athleticism there.

Jensen slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Menezes has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jensen is proving hard to escape from.
Menezes looking to sit in guard and control but Jensen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Menezes is trying to keep Jensen in close.
Menezes doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Jensen is landing with some decent strikes but Menezes is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Jensen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Menezes is surviving well by controlling Jensen's body position as best he can.

Jensen is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Menezes goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Jensen!
