Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frankestein Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Potatos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir comes to the cage accompanied by SURF RIDER!!!. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

With a record of 29 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankestein Mir!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Potatos!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Potatos drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mir trying to control the position.
Potatos landing with the ground and pound.

Mir has his foot on Potatos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Potatos works his way back into a safe position though.
Mir tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mir controls Potatos momentarily but Potatos frees himself.
Potatos scoring with some ground and pound.

Mir had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Potatos defends it easily.
Mir wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Potatos won't allow Mir to sweep him here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Potatos with a nice head shot there.
Potatos lands a couple of elbows.
Potatos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mir works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Potatos throws a big elbow that misses.

Mir has control of Potatos's left arm, preventing Potatos from doing any damage.
Mir lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Potatos!
Mir sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
BOOM! Mir connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Potatos tries to hold on but Mir pushes him away.
Potatos is squirming around, avoiding Mir's attempts to control the action.
Potatos manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Mir is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Potatos has managed to free his arm - good work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mir is trying to control the action in half guard but Potatos is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Potatos is defending against the submission attempts here by Mir.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Potatos is looking to improve his position.

Mir frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
A nice elbow there by Mir.
Potatos working to try and regain half guard.
Mir punishing his opponent with strikes.
Potatos wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Mir.
Potatos holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Mir tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Mir throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Potatos because Mir loaded up on that one.
Mir sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Mir unloads with some shots from mount but Potatos bucks and avoids them well.
Mir looking to control but Potatos is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Potatos controls the position.
Mir throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

Mir lands a heavy elbow.

Mir is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Potatos can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Mir thowing shots but they're missing.
Potatos tries to hold on but Mir pushes him away.
Mir is landing with some decent strikes but Potatos is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Mir looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Mir is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Potatos has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Mir prevents Potatos from getting the reversal.
Mir lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Potatos hang on?


Potatos is rocked!

Mir looking to secure an arm triangle but Potatos defends it well.
Potatos is still in real trouble! Can Mir finish him?

Mir looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Potatos working to try and regain half guard.
Potatos seems to have recovered his senses.
Potatos is squirming around, avoiding Mir's attempts to control the action.

Mir is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Potatos is surviving well by controlling Mir's body position as best he can.

Mir has hold of Potatos's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Potatos manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Mir in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Mir landing strikes from the mount and Potatos is in trouble!
Mir lands a big shot to the head and Potatos winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Frankestein Mir very nearly forgot to thank Conquer amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
