Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Urho Kekkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue. Chuck Shamrock is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chuck Shamrock!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock stalks Kekkonen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kekkonen's face. Kekkonen staggers backwards, shaken.
Kekkonen slips under a jab from Shamrock.
Shamrock lands with a straight right. Kekkonen didn't see that one coming.
Kekkonen avoids a punch combination nicely.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Shamrock checks a leg kick.
Shamrock scores with the left hand. Kekkonen knows he should have avoided that one.
Shamrock thows a left - swing and a miss!
A right-left combo lands from Shamrock.
Kekkonen pivots, looking for a leg kick but Shamrock is out of range and Kekkonen settles back down.
Shamrock lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kekkonen is rocked!
Kekkonen walks straight into a right hand from Shamrock - that's dropped him! Shamrock jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kekkonen from any more punishment! Kekkonen complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chuck Shamrock!
After winning the bout, Chuck Shamrock thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
