Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Ghost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Pacific (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pacific has chosen Akon ft Pitbull Shut it Down as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Ghost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joey Pacific! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pacific closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Ghost is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pacific tries to stand but can't do so whilst Ghost controls his leg. Ghost tries to kick Pacific off but Pacific keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ghost keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Pacific is thwarting Ghost's attempts to control the position. Pacific looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ghost with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Pacific slows the pace down in half guard. Ghost is refusing to be controlled, as Pacific sits in half guard. Pacific slows the pace down in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Joey Pacific. Pacific fails with the takedown. Pacific shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ghost is trying to defend but Pacific finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Ghost looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pacific not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Pacific wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ghost keeps working. Pacific is nestled in close to Ghost, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Pacific stalling away here and it's allowed Ghost to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Pacific controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Pacific is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Pacific won't allow Ghost to get back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ghost wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pacific wants to control from the top but Ghost keeps moving. Ghost is trying to control the position but Pacific postures up. Ghost lands a decent shot there. Ghost has control of Pacific's left arm, preventing Pacific from doing any damage. Ghost manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ghost trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ghost wants to finish this one by submission but Pacific is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ghost. Pacific keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joey Pacific dominated that round. That's time! Ghost's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ghost shoots in and drives through. Pacific sprawls well. Ghost has his takedown stuffed and Pacific counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Ghost on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Ghost misses with a straight left. Ghost changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pacific looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Pacific tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pacific can't do much from the bottom here. Pacific is looking to regain half guard here but Ghost keeps moving and retains side control.

Pacific struggling a bit here. Ghost swings around for an armbar but Pacific sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ghost's guard. Pacific loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ghost keeping moving, preventing Pacific from controlling successfully. Ghost is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ghost could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pacific postures up in Ghost's guard and throws a big left but Ghost blocks it. Pacific's corner is telling him to maintain position. Ghost is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pacific defends well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ghost keeping moving, preventing Pacific from controlling successfully. Pacific throws an elbow that misses. Ghost uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pacific's guard. Nice move by Ghost! Ghost wants to pass the guard but Pacific is keeping the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pacific can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ghost with a poor takedown and Pacific holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Pacific turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pacific manages to end up in side control. Ghost avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Pacific. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Pacific lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pacific in side control, throwing shots but Ghost defends. Ghost is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ghost is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Pacific trying to control from half guard but Ghost is working away. Pacific thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ghost's head. Pacific working Ghost over with strikes. Pacific is keen to just control but Ghost is a slippery customer. Pacific really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ghost. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ghost trying to control here.

Pacific throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ghost to regain full guard. Pacific controlling from the top position. Pacific content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. That's three minutes gone in the round. Pacific throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ghost escapes and throws Pacific's legs to the side, diving into side control! Pacific takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ghost throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Ghost misses with the ground and pound. Ghost moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Pacific tries to improve position but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ghost wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pacific keeps working. Ghost in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The strikes coming from Ghost are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Ghost has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Pacific! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ghost looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Ghost can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pacific is looking to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Joey Pacific comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pacific has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Joey Pacific! Joey Pacific decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
