Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yorito Nayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Vadokowich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vadokowich has chosen Metallica - Enter Sandman as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yorito Nayama! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vadim Vadokowich! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vadokowich misses with an uppercut
and Nayama counters with a straight right hand. Nayama on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Vadokowich swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nayama.
It looks like Yorito Nayama has been cut. Nayama fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vadokowich sprawls well initially but Nayama persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Nayama wants to pass to mount but Vadokowich is defending the position. Vadokowich wants to get back to full guard. Vadokowich gets back to full guard.
Nayama slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nayama pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vadokowich is keeping the position for now. Vadokowich utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Vadokowich has his hands on Nayama's head, controlling the position. Vadokowich keeping full guard, as Nayama tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nayama trying to control the position from guard on top but Vadokowich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nayama stopping the sweep attempt from Vadokowich. Nayama looking to sit in guard and control but Vadokowich gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Nayama is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nayama shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vadokowich but Vadokowich pushes him off and we're back to square one. Vadokowich misses with a body shot.
Vadokowich throws a jab but it's blocked by Nayama. Vadokowich swings for the body but Nayama moves out of range.
Nayama dives in and grabs Vadokowich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vadokowich pushes down on Nayama's head and hops out. Vadokowich throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nayama counters with a lovely shot to the body. Nayama shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vadokowich is trying to defend but Nayama finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Vadokowich moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Vadokowich tries to land a sweep but no joy. Vadokowich is pulling down on Nayama's head. It's preventing any offense from Nayama, at least for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nayama trying to control but Vadokowich is working from the bottom. Nayama looking to pass the guard. Vadokowich looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Vadokowich keeping moving, preventing Nayama from controlling successfully. Nayama preventing the sweep. Nayama drops back looking for a leg! Vadokowich is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vadokowich manages to kick Nayama off! Nayama jumps back into Vadokowich's guard. Vadokowich is trying to keep Nayama in close.
Nayama is looking to pass into half guard but Vadokowich pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Vadokowich is in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nayama throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Vadokowich tries to free his leg and advance position but Nayama is retaining full guard. Nayama is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vadokowich defends well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vadokowich sitting in guard, not really doing much. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Yorito Nayama will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Yorito Nayama's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nayama looking to score a takedown here. Vadokowich is defending well but Nayama drives through and ends up in Vadokowich's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vadokowich trying to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vadokowich looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Vadokowich keeping full guard, as Nayama tries to pass. Vadokowich looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nayama is one step ahead there. Vadokowich is trying to control the position but Nayama postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Vadim Vadokowich was stalling too much, according to the referee. Vadokowich throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nayama sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nayama fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nayama takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Nayama drives through with a takedown into guard. Vadokowich tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nayama landing with the ground and pound. Nayama trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Vadokowich manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Vadokowich got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nayama has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vadokowich has managed to get both his arms back between Nayama's legs - danger averted. Vadokowich must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vadokowich won't allow Nayama to sweep him here. Vadokowich trying to control but Nayama is working from the bottom. Nayama trying to keep a closed guard but Vadokowich is proving a slippery customer.
Nayama escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vadokowich gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vadokowich stopping the sweep attempt from Nayama. Nayama is working hard here to advance position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Vadim Vadokowich hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Vadokowich connects with a solid leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nayama lands a lovely overhand right. Yorito Nayama is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nayama ducks under a wild hook from Vadokowich. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vadokowich, right into the meat.
Vadokowich fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Nayama slips a jab from Vadokowich. Vadokowich throws the left hand but Nayama avoids the punch easily. Vadokowich just misses with a punch to the body.
Vadokowich cracks Nayama with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Vadokowich lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Nayama is rocked! Vadim Vadokowich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vadokowich throws an overhand right that has Nayama reeling! Vadokowich follows up with more punches and Nayama is out cold! This one is all over!
