Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Otis Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent has chosen I'll be Back as his entrance music. Peter Kent acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
32 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Otis Gein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Kent! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kent swings for the body but Gein moves out of range.
Kent wants to clinch up but Gein keeps it at a distance. Kent takes a swing at Gein's ribcage but misses. Gein keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gein shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gein was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Gein working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Kent struggling a bit here. Gein working the head and body with strikes. Gein looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Gein is working Kent over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gein in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Gein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kent tries to bench press Gein off him but Gein keeps the position. The ground and pound from Gein seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Gein prevents Kent from escaping the position. Gein throws an elbow but Kent slips to the side and avoids it well. Gein throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Kent works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Gein trying to control from half guard but Kent is working away. Kent is trying to control but can't.
Gein is keen to just control but Kent is a slippery customer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kent keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kent is looking to control Gein's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kent avoid being mounted? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gein throwing shots but Kent is blocking nicely. Kent is trying to maintain the position but Gein is very close to passing his half guard. Kent wants to get back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Peter Kent has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Nice sprawl there from Kent as Gein shoots in. Gein circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kent ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Gein throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kent was covering up waiting for the punch and Gein finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kent working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gein. Gein throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kent is pulling down on Gein's head to control his posture. Kent avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kent keeping full guard, as Gein tries to pass. Kent is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gein is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Kent is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gein trying to control the position from guard on top but Kent is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kent trying to control the position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Peter Kent hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Gein looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gein on the wrong end of a nice jab. Kent throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kent looks to score with a jab to the body but Gein is just out of range. Kent throws a jab when Gein was well out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kent just misses with a punch to the body.

Gein shoots in looking for a takedown but Kent manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gein's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Otis Gein. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gein fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Otis Gein will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Kent tries to clinch up. A combination from Kent does no damage. Gein uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kent.
Gein shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Otis Gein is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gein tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kent swivels and escapes. Gein tries to work over Kent's front leg with a kick but Kent checks it. Kent is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Gein rather than just go for the knockout. Gein closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kent circles away. Gein shoots in looking for a takedown. Kent tries to sprawl out of it but Gein keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kent manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Otis Gein. That's going to take a lot out of him. A looping hook to the body misses from Kent. Gein does a little dance to reset his feet. Gein with a lazy takedown attempt and Kent counters by clinching up. Kent breaks the clinch.
Kent lands with a shot to the body. Otis Gein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gein takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Decent striking displayed by Gein there. Kent lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gein at a distance.

Gein shoots and misses and Kent counters with a lovely straight right hand! Gein shoots for a double leg takedown but Kent sprawls well. He's pushed Gein's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kent ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gein moves away. Kent throws a big shot that misses. Gein slips under a jab. Gein takes a shot to the body in his stride.

"Ole!" shouts Kent as he jumps to the side.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kent misses the shot to the body. Gein misses with a two punch combination.
Kent closes the distance and clinches. Kent wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gein has him pressed against the cage. Kent holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Kent keeps control of Gein as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kent breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kent cracks Gein with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Kent rushes Gein and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kent can't break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Gein. Gein swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kent breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gein shoots in and bounces Kent off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gein wants to control from the top but Kent keeps moving. Gein throws a strike but Kent rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Gein trying to keep a closed guard but Kent is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kent is looking to stand up but Gein won't let him. Kent scores with a decent looking elbow strike. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kent trying to control the position from guard on top but Gein is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gein working a defensive guard here.
Gein utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gein managing to control the position. Gein looking for a sweep. Not yet Gein, not yet. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kent postures up in Gein's guard and throws a big left but Gein blocks it. Gein lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kent! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gein trying to control but he's not successful this time. Gein landing strikes, looking to finish! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Kent showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gein's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Gein throws an elbow that misses. Kent uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gein's guard. Nice move by Kent! Gein looking for a guillotine here but Kent defends easily.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kent throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gein stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gein fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Otis Gein. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gein moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Gein feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kents jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Gein shoots for a double leg takedown but Kent sprawls well. He's pushed Gein's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Gein misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kent lands a jab to Gein's midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kent connects with the punch. Gein fails with the takedown. A jab lands there for Kent. Gein ducks under a wild hook from Kent. Kent misses with a straight right. Gein looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. No joy there for Kent, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kent wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Gein manages to pass to side control. Kent keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Gein is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Gein wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kent keeps working. Kent is trying to control but can't.

Otis Gein overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gein missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gein connects with a nice short shot to Kent's temple. Kent has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gein is working away from the top position though. Kent works his way to full guard. Good work. Gein lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Kent is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Otis Gein. I think Gein has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
