Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Erik Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanaka's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Yuudachi. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Tanaka throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Tanaka walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Tanaka is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Tanaka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Andersen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tanaka somewhat.

Andersen feints a jab promting Tanaka to slip. Andersen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tanaka slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Andersen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tanaka is defending well for now.

Tanaka takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tanaka postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Andersen looks a forlorn figure.

Shinji Tanaka decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
