The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gomez lands with a light punch inside.

Embrett II holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Embrett II gets back to half guard.
Embrett II wants to control but Gomez is keeping busy.
Gomez is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Gomez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Embrett II does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
