Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ja Masterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Light comes to the cage accompanied by Ride for This-Fabolous. Masterson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hyena -by- Rancid. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Masterson finds it's way through Light's defenses.
Masterson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Light.
Masterson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Light.
Light misses with a head kick.
Light throws a right and a left that Masterson avoids nicely.
Light decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Masterson trying to control here.
Masterson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Light tries to stand and escape but Masterson is controlling the position.
Light not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Light wants to free his trapped foot but Masterson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Masterson trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Light postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Masterson looks a forlorn figure.
Masterson is in a horrible position here. Light smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Light is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Masterson goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Light!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bobby Light!
