Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karbal Lindi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Sidorenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Sidorenko as he checks the leg kick.

Lindi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sidorenko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Sidorenko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sidorenko has eaten all the pies!
Lindi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sidorenko gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Lindi is trying to trip Sidorenko. He has hold of a leg but Sidorenko is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lindi persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sidorenko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lindi is controlling him.
Sidorenko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Karbal Lindi opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
