Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karbal Lindi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Sidorenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Karbal Lindi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexei Sidorenko! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good work by Sidorenko as he checks the leg kick. Sidorenko throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Sidorenko throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Sidorenko delivers a nice body kick. Sidorenko tries to clinch but Lindi is having none of it. Sidorenko connects with a high kick. Sidorenko throws a head kick but Lindi moves out of range.
Lindi avoids the head kick by Sidorenko.
Lindi fails to land the takedown. Lindi scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Lindi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sidorenko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Lindi is taking a breather. Sidorenko says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. This has been an exciting period of action! The fighters are battling for position here. Sidorenko manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Sidorenko is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lindi slips nicely into half guard. Lindi is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lindi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Lindi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Lindi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sidorenko tries to kick Lindi off but Lindi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Lindi working the head and body with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sidorenko tries to kick Lindi off but Lindi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Sidorenko is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lindi scores with a couple of nice shots. Lindi controlling the pace. Lindi lands strikes from half guard. Lindi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lindi perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sidorenko is looking for a sweep. Lindi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lindi is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Lindi slows the pace down in half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Karbal Lindi. Lindi blocks a head kick by Sidorenko.
Alexei Sidorenko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sidorenko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lindi looks to score with a jab to the body but Sidorenko is just out of range. Sidorenko tries a head kick but it misses.
Sidorenko throws a sloppy head kick and Lindi moves out of range easily. Lindi scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lindi in particular looking to stall. Sidorenko pushes Lindi off looking to stand but Lindi dives back in and keeps control.
Lindi lands with a punch from half guard. Lindi lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Lindi prevents Sidorenko from standing back up.
Sidorenko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lindi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lindi is figuring out what he wants to do next. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lindi drops an elbow to the side of Sidorenko's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Lindi stands up out of the half guard. Sidorenko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Lindi takes the fight into the clinch. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sidorenko has eaten all the pies! Lindi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sidorenko gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Lindi pressing his opponent against the cage. Lindi is trying to trip Sidorenko. He has hold of a leg but Sidorenko is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lindi persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lindi postures up and lands a big shot to Sidorenko's brow. Sidorenko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lindi is controlling him. Sidorenko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Karbal Lindi dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lindi fails to land the takedown. A head kick misses from Sidorenko. Sidorenko lands with a kick to the temple. Lindi shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Sidorenko misses with a head kick.
Sidorenko throws a low kick, looking for Lindi's leg but Lindi calmly moves out of range. Lindi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Sidorenko is looking for a sweep. Lindi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lindi working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ground and pound from Lindi. Lindi wants to work for an arm triangle but Sidorenko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lindi passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Sidorenko! Lindi wants to finish this one by submission but Sidorenko is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lindi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sidorenko is trying to stand up. Lindi with good strikes from the mount here!
It looks like Alexei Sidorenko has been cut. Lindi landing strikes from the mount and Sidorenko is in trouble! Lindi lands a big elbow. Sidorenko wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sidorenko is bucking up trying to escape but Lindi cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That has opened up Alexei Sidorenko's cut even more. Lindi sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lindi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Lindi postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sidorenko looks a forlorn figure.
Alexei Sidorenko's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alexei Sidorenko's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Karbal Lindi! Karbal Lindi opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
