Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Hyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Little Lion Man by Mumford and Sons. Hyatt is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The thing that should not be. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Hyatt!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a low kick as Hyatt jumps back.
Nice takedown defense from Hyatt. No joy for Silva on that attempt.
Hyatt connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hyatt lands a nice shot that snaps Silva's head back.
Silva misses with a kick to the body.
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A clash of legs there as Silva blocks the low kick.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Hyatt sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hyatt cracks a nice hook into Silva's ribs.
Ricardo Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A bone on bone clash there as Silva blocks the leg kick.
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva moves forwards but Hyatt connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Silva throws a leg kick but Hyatt moved away.
Silva throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hyatt's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hyatt.
Nice sprawl there from Hyatt as Silva shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hyatt feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Silva sprawling to the canvas! Silva rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hyatt finish him?!
Silva is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva ducks under a wild hook from Hyatt.
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Silva. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Hyatt fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Silva square on the jaw! Damn, Silva is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jimmy Hyatt!
