Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin St John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St John is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Uilleann Pipes. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St John throws a low kick but Powers avoids it.
Powers takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Matt Powers has been cut.
The fighters circle momentarily. St John darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Powers shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
St John getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A punch combination from Powers misses.
Powers is breathing heavily.
Powers thows a body shot but no joy.
Powers gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
St John advances to half guard.
Powers won't allow St John to pass to mount.
St John lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Powers trying to control from the bottom.
St John is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Powers is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but St John pulls his head out easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
St John performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

St John is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
St John tries to pass the half guard into mount. Powers knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Nice strikes from St John there.
St John has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Powers defend it? St John steps over the head and cranks it - Powers is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for St John!
