Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vydan Freuster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Sangweni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Freuster connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Freuster lands a lovely overhand right.
Freuster looks to land a right hand but Sangweni moved out of range.
Vydan Freuster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Freuster drops Sangweni with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sangweni looks back up at him and smiles so Freuster waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Sangweni uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Freuster.

Sangweni's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Freuster connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sangweni scrambles back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Freuster lands a big uppercut and Sangweni crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sangweni looks OK. Freuster waves Sangweni back to his feet!

Sangweni displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Freuster throws out the jab.
Freuster is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Sangweni flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Sangweni is out cold! Freuster holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
