PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Genghis Ron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Dawg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ron's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Carmina Burana O Fortuna. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Genghis Ron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Big Dawg!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawg slips under a jab from Ron.
Ron clinches with his opponent.
Dawg is trying to break the clinch but Ron has him pressed against the cage.
Ron lands a hook to the side of the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ron creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Dawg with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Dawg jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ron walks away with a smile on his face. Dawg gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ron, as that shot connected.
Dawg tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ron paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ron with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A jab from Ron does it's job there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dawg takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A cross from Ron lands.
Ron circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Dawg to the canvas! Dawg doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Ron keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Genghis Ron!
